Launched in 2014, the RuhrCampus³ educational space opens up a wide range of opportunities for UA Ruhr students: They can attend courses at all three universities without having to pay the usual two-student fee. This opens up exciting opportunities for specialization and in-depth study. Thanks to simplified regulations, credits earned at a partner university can be recognized more easily. International exchange students in particular benefit from a wider range of courses, as they have access to all courses within the University Alliance that can be chosen as part of their studies. The joint course catalog helps students to find suitable lectures, seminars and courses.

Learning Together

Students can use the libraries of all three universities to ensure that learning and working at the three locations is a success. In Dortmund city center, all UA Ruhr students can use the Shared Learning Space in the City, where a total of 160 workstations are available. And if you need a book from Bochum in Duisburg, for example, you can get it very quickly via interlibrary loan within the UA Ruhr. The joint library catalog shows the full range of holdings at the three universities.
