27.09.2024: Application deadline

Due to Russia's attack on Ukraine, the DAAD has suspended all institutional forms of cooperation with partners in the Russian Federation and Belarus until further notice. Against this background, no applications for project funding with partner institutions in the Russian Federation and Belarus are possible.

Goals of the programme:

The aim of the programme is to increase the interest of German students and graduates for a study, research or internship stay in countries of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe (with the exception of EU countries) as well as the South Caucasus and Central Asia and to contribute to the internationalisation of the participating universities.

Funding:

• Funding is provided in programme line 1 Go East - Eastern European projects at German universities and in programme line 2 Go East - project initiation trips to the target region.
• For Bachelor's and/or Master's students, doctoral candidates, post-doctoral candidates, post-doctoral researchers, academics and professors
